Who Are You

Evil right wing talk radio host Chris Plante did some excellent vast right wing conspiratorial ranting last Friday, on the topic of evil Republican voter suppression conspiracies Democrat poll fraud schemes. Listen to the podcast here.

Predictably, all the talk of photo identification immediately brought to mind the classic song by The Who under the title Who Are You.

I woke up in a Soho doorway
The policeman knew my name
He said, "You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away"

Or, as it applies more to the topic at hand, with slight mods,

I woke up in a Philly doorway
OFA knew my name
Said, "You can have a hundred bucks tonight
If you vote twice for me, hey OK?"*

*140% voter participation? 100% - 0% vote count margins? Really? In which parallel universe is that?

All the talk about protecting the rule of law at the polls also brought back to mind this little email exchange I recently had with the rabid OFA operative known as Eric Byler ...



You see, I'm on this blockhead's mailing list. And I know he reads my little replies, because we previously had this little exchange ...



The Left thinks last November's squeaker gives them the running room to institute their entire agenda all at once. They are counting on the same enabler that gave them the election in the first place - the complacency of the low information voter. Team Leftie needs to feel what it's like to have their political "enemies" (Obama's term) get up in their faces (Obama's advice.) Welcome to Obama's America.

And today's poster child for tightening it up at the polling place ... drum roll, please ... is .... Melowese Richardson of Cincinnati, Ohio.

I love her defense - "I had no intention of doing exactly what I did."

Richardson claimed she had submitted an absentee ballot, but was afraid her vote would not count so she also voted in person. She also said she voted in the name of her granddaughter and yet another person.

"There was absolutely no intent on my part to commit any voter fraud," she insisted.
